How to get a claim for Mahindra Jayo Insurance?
- Inform the insurance company immediately after an accident, theft, fire, or any damage. Use their helpline, mobile app, or website.
- Provide basic details such as policy number, vehicle number, location of incident, time, and type of damage.
- Do NOT move the vehicle (in case of an accident) until the insurance company tells you, unless it is blocking traffic or unsafe.
- The insurer will assign a claim registration number — keep it safely for all updates.
- A surveyor/inspector will visit to check the damage to your Mahindra Jayo and prepare a report.
- Submit the required documents: RC copy, driving licence, insurance policy, FIR (if required), claim form, repair estimate, and photos of the damage.
- Take your Jayo to an authorized or network garage to get cashless repairs (if available).
- The surveyor approves the repair estimate and repairs begin.
- Once repairs are completed, the insurer either pays the garage directly (cashless claim) or reimburses you if you paid first.
- You may need to pay deductibles, depreciation, or non-covered parts depending on your policy type.
- For theft claims, file an FIR, submit documents to the insurer, wait for police “non-traceable report,” after which the insurer processes the total-loss claim.
How to get Mahindra Jayo Insurance Online?
- Go to a trusted insurer’s website/portal or a comparison/insurance-aggregator site offering commercial-vehicle / truck insurance (for example Shriram General Insurance, Reliance General Insurance, GoDigit Insurance, or a broker/aggregator like Policybazaar / Fincover / others).
- On their site, select “commercial / goods-carrying / truck insurance” — indicate that your vehicle type is a goods-carrying truck (like Jayo).
- Enter the required vehicle and owner details — typically registration number, vehicle usage (commercial/goods-carrying), vehicle age, chassis/engine number (if asked), owner’s identity/KYC info, contact info, etc.
- Choose the insurance plan you want — e.g. Third-Party (mandatory), or a Comprehensive / Goods-Carrying Vehicle Insurance with own-damage + add-ons, depending on your needs.
- (Optional) Select additional covers or add-ons — if offered: e.g. personal accident cover for driver, accessories cover, zero-depreciation / extra protections etc.
- Make payment online — via net-banking / UPI / card / other payment modes as supported by the insurer.
- After payment and verification, you receive the policy documents — typically via email / SMS / PDF download (sometimes also WhatsApp) — this serves as your insurance certificate/policy.
