How to get a claim for Mahindra Furio Insurance?
- Immediately inform your insurer as soon as any damage, accident, theft, or loss occurs. Contact them via helpline, website, app, or nearest branch to register the claim.
- File an FIR if required — for third-party accidents, property damage, theft, or major loss — by visiting the nearest police station and getting a lawful FIR.
- Document the damage — take clear photos/videos of the accident scene, vehicle damage, and any third-party property involved. Collect details of other vehicles/parties if applicable.
- Submit required documents — such as the filled claim form, RC, driving licence copy of the driver at the time of incident, insurance policy copy, FIR (if needed), repair estimate or bills, and any additional documents required by the insurer.
- Survey/Inspection by insurer’s surveyor — the insurer assigns a surveyor to inspect the damaged vehicle, assess the loss, and prepare a survey report after claim registration.
- Repair at network/authorized garage (cashless) or repair & submit bills — insurers often offer cashless repairs at network garages; otherwise, you can repair the vehicle elsewhere and submit bills for reimbursement.
- Claim settlement/Reimbursement — once surveyor and insurer verify the damage, documents, and bills (or theft-related proofs), the insurer approves the claim and pays either directly to the garage (cashless) or reimburses you.
